I had every intention of working everyone today, and giving them tomorrow off.
Instead I went to the races at Trentham, got mobbed by the drunken hat-and-frock brigade, sweated like a pig in the far-too-hot sun, and bought myself a nasty old Isuzu Bighorn while I was in the Hutt for good measure.
So it turns out that Kicks, and everyone else, will not be having Sunday off, as they got their lazy day today.

Good on you! It was a beautiful day in Upper Hutt yesterday..... Bloody hot! As it was again today. I'm not big on Trentham, although I only live 5 minutes from the track. Much prefer watching The trots.

ReplyDeleteThe place was insane. They had over 25,000 on track!
We went to the big jumps meeting last winter, and it was far less populated, and far more fun, not to mention cooler.
